July 5, 2017 | Red Deer, AB – Kenny Shields and Streetheart, who were set to perform on Thursday, July 20 at Westerner Days Fair & Exposition, have cancelled their entire 2017 tour.

In a statement released today, July 5, the band announced that they will be cancelling the remainder of their 2017 tour due to illness.

“Our thoughts are with Kenny Shields and Streetheart, their family, and their friends as they face this difficult time,” says Ben Antifaiff, CEO and General Manager, Westerner Park. “We wish for a speedy recovery and want them to know they will surely be missed at this year’s Westerner Days.”

A replacement to join Chilliwack for the Thursday, July 20 Main Stage concert, presented by 100.7 CRUZ FM and 106.7 The Drive, in the ENMAX Centrium will be announced shortly when a performer has been confirmed.

July 19 — Jess Moskaluke, Nice Horse, Hey Romeo

July 21 — Tom Cochrane with Red Rider, Jamie Woodfin, Ken Stead
                 (Presented by: 106.7 The Drive & Zed 98.9 FM)

July 22 — Coleman Hell, Jocelyn Alice
                 (Presented by: Big 105 FM & KRAZE 101.3 FM)
